ADHD Test
HSA/FSA reimbursable
32 Biomarkers
You earn: 738 pts

Discover a new level of clarity and focus as you gain insight into your body with ADHD testing. Our state-of-the-art blood analysis provides an accurate and comprehensive view of adult ADHD by testing markers, helping you and your healthcare provider tailor a treatment plan specific to your needs. Keep in mind, our tests are not meant to diagnose ADHD, but rather to identify symptoms to allow you to optimize treatment results with your primary care doctor and at home. Say goodbye to frustration and hello to a brighter future, with ADHD blood testing.

ADHD is a psychiatric condition that affects concentration and results in difficulty staying still or quiet. Although an ADHD diagnosis can only be determined through psychiatric evaluation, several disorders can make ADHD symptoms worse or impede effective treatment. Some of these include thyroid disorders, vitamin and mineral deficiencies, and food sensitivities.

If you already have an ADHD diagnosis, you should get comprehensive testing for liver and kidney function, as treatment may result in severe side effects.

The following panel has been tailored to cover ADHD patients’ needs.

In patients receiving therapy with high biotin doses (ie, > 5 mg/day), no sample should be taken until at least eight hours after the last biotin administration.

Estimated turnaround for results is 5 business days. If confirmation testing is required, the estimated time may be extended.

This profile measures the amount of glucose (sugar) in your blood. Sugar is an important source of energy, especially for the brain. The amount of glucose in your blood is carefully controlled by the endocrine (glandular) system. This system causes sugar to be stored or used for energy, depending on the needs of your body. In addition, the hemoglobin A1c ("A-one-C") test is a blood test used in the care of people who have diabetes. The hemoglobin A1c percentage is a way of looking at your average blood sugar control over the last 2 or 3 months. Finally, this profile includes a Comprehensive Metabolic Profile to assess kidney function, which is critical in evaluating overall health of diabetics as well as Insulin levels.

This cognitive impairment is often temporary and usually occurs during the first trimester and may persist throughout the pregnancy. If you’re unsure if your brain fog is related to pregnancy, or you’re already pregnant and are experiencing brain fog symptoms, this test can help you gather important information.

How do I read my test results?
For each test, you can either download the standard PDF just like it comes from the lab or use our brand-new Smart Health Reports feature with helpful insights & and easy-to-read graphs for each biomarker. You’ll see it in your patient portal automatically when your results are ready (sample report).

However, if you choose to view the standard PDF, on the left side of the page, you'll find the names of the tests performed.

The next column displays your test levels, followed by indicators such as low/high/alert/critical if your levels fall outside the normal range.

Lastly, you'll find the column listing the normal ranges for each test (sample report).

These normal ranges provide valuable information to assess whether your levels are within the expected range or if they're on the borderline. Comparing your levels to the listed ranges allows you to gauge where you stand.
